Q&A

Welcome Back to SMC! We are so glad you have followed us from the old blog to here! So why the new Blog, new design, and new name? Well as most of my followers know I have been on a journey to self discovery the past year. This new layout,design and Name is a reflection of New Beginnings. I prayed for answers and guidance ! I believe this is the path The Lord is sending me down, to follow my Dreams, reach for my goals and above all do what I LOVE!

So to answer some of the questions you've submitted,

Q: What about crochet do you love the most?

A: Wow, That is a GREAT question! I love how it brings a smile to the faces of the people I create things for! A perfect example of this is my most recent Design!  A very dear person in our lives mom has been in the hospital, she had limited mobility in her hands, but could squeeze a washcloth. She is a Green Bay packers Major fan! lol So I made a crochet ball of sorts in yellow with a Green and white G for GB.
When her daughter, our dear friend, Told me just how much her mom Loves that ball, the feeling is so overwhelming! The joy it brings. That particular item was a gift , however I do get that same feeling for every design I create that brings others joy, For every item I crochet of  someone else's design, I still get that feeling of Pride, I couldn't do what It is I do had God not Blessed me with the patience and the drive !

Q: How Long have you been Designing?

A:  Another Great question! I have actually only designed a few items and Have only branched out into designing ideas for a few months! I have however been crocheting for many many years! I started out crocheting with my mom when I was roughly 12 maybe 13 years old and we used our fingers!

Q: How do you manage your little ones and Crocheting? I have a hard time just cleaning with my two!

A: That is a good question! Some days are easier then others! I think having a partner who is supportive and Helps out when he is home is a major key! On the days he is at work I work on designs by writing down ideas that may pop into my head and when he is home I sit down and work on those ideas! When I have orders I usually work on those when he gets home in the evenings and somehow always get them done pretty fast! I think it helps that I love crocheting! Cleaning, not so much fun as crocheting lol
